. . . I feel like I should be writing something as a means of catharsis. But I don't know if I want anyone reading it... what do people use for real private journals in the 21st century? Because it sure as hell isn't on the internet. ;)
Life has been full of tribulations but I'm working on resolving the ones pertinent to me. I don't seem to have the kinds of drama other people do; not that I want any more drama of any sort. But at least those kinds of drama are often the result of intimate relationships which I'm still avoiding.
I'm sure intimate relationships can exist without drama. I look forward to those. |

I'm sure intimate relationships can exist without drama, too. Hell, I thought I had one of those. Actually. You know. Let me rephrase. I thought I had one of those, but when I found out I didn't, I kicked it to the curb, because I'm sure intimate relationships can and should exist without drama. And any that do isn't worth having. How's that? Also, how is this for co-opting your post for my own? :P As for journals, I used to journal copiously in real, actual, tree-killing paper journals. I have boxes of them in storage. I highly recommend them. See, you can even get pretty leather covers for them. Kill cows while you're also killing trees! Oh, wait. You're vegan. Um. Shit. And thus ends the world's longest comment.
::facepalm::
Let me rephrase my rephrasing.
"And any that do have drama isn't worth having."
People use paper journals. It's still considered "healthy" in most circles, or something.
Intimate relationships can definitely exist without drama. They're few and far between, especially when someone lives in an area where seemingly every "community" (or what have you) is, by nature, tiny and somewhat incestuous. One just needs to find a like-minded person who has similar priorities, and idunno, communicates well.
Good to read you. :)

Moleskines :) And for feeding hope - elvendoll and I have managed to have a drama free relationship for the past 7 years. A drama free poly one, at that even :)
I miss you. Let me know if you'd like to not avoid me for an evening & we can grab some coffee/etc. Life's been pretty busy/crappy on my end the last couple weeks, but I would love to make time for you. | |
